The title is a quote from the text of J.W. Goethe "Theory of Colours" (published in 1810). Goethe appreciates that the sensation of complementary colors does not originate physically from the actions of light on our eyes but perceptually from the actions of our visual system. The video is built around the concepts of perception and listening as an area of definition of sense, because everything in the phenomenal world exists only as relativity. Through listening it generates an opening in the body, this expansion takes us out of ourselves by creating multiple references. The work creates a dreamlike dimension where a room is perceived and defined by the slow increase of the chromatic intensity, where listening of a bright black body creates phase dragging away in the time organic forms and colors.
