(UN) titled 2005 came about from a feeling of something eating you from the inside out. Early in my work I was exploring the idea of religion as food/faith of the body. A good friend of mine was rejected from the church after he came out as gay and HIV positive. I wanted to explore this subject in a physical way. The shot of the back is a long continuous frame as the main subject becomes human, animal, a piece of meat. Thank you for everyone involved in this video. This is for you.
