Robo A Gogo - The Apocalypse remixed by Petrus Dance - Electronic Performance - DJ Concert Artistic Director | Choreographer | Theater - Film maker: Petrus The Roman (Belgium) A dynamic multimedia “Trilogy of the End” will soon operate in the internet from a website updated by Petrus (Wayn Traub’s new identity). It will be the epicenter of his new artistic policy with fun, commitment and open to interactive submits (pictures, videos, music, comments). Dedicated to a collective consciousness, this trilogy is simultaneously created between Asia and Belgium enabling him to experiment several installments evolving too during the European tour. Currently, Petrus is preparing the performance called “Robo A Gogo” a version of the Apocalypse with dancing, acting android robots and female Gogo dancers, the heroines of its futuristic tale. Revisiting some contemporary disasters and frankly driving crazy the issue of the male domination in the frame of an electronic cabaret, the interpreters lives even inspire the plot. So we can expect a sensory and exhilarating new firework display of dance, music and theatre. The concept behind the performance comes from the desire to share and collaborate on works and ideas, with very talented Asian artists, who cannot always evolve in their own countries. Petrus works in the open field of performance mostly inspired by biblical figures and myths using modern tools. Freaky, ironic with connections to the present. Both performance and DJ concert, "Robo A Gogo" can be staged either in theaters, festivals or arts centers (in its own circular scenery). Petrus will also dedicate this work to a large audience or a community via the internet, showing that the quest for art and culture is more in need than ever. Thus all artistic actions will be broadcasted on streaming from his website as well called "The Book Of Revolutions". Through the internet jungle, this site will seek to feed the urge, to go out and discover artists who come from the other side of the screen, or the planet. |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRESS REVIEW “We’ve never seen that. We remain breathless, curiously hypnotized. A fierce art psychological thriller and spectacular mix for a fantastic breakthrough in the intimacy of an artist.” 2009 – Maria Magdalena at Théâtre de la Ville Paris - Rosita Boisseau - Télérama (Fr) "Unclassifiable from all points of view, Wayn Traub is firmly apart. His shows, all presented in Paris at the Theatre de la Ville, have dug a vein of a ritualistic theatre through religious allusions and legendary references. Film and music were mingled in hallucinatory narrative labyrinths with a prodigious sense of dramaturgy. " 2007 - Jean-Marc Adolphe – N.Q.S.Z by W.T - Théâtre de la Ville Review (Fr) “A Fierce, Brilliant Apocalyptic Warning.” 2009 - Maria Magdalena at Tramway - Joyce McMillan - Glasgow (Uk) "Wayn Traub is one of the new flemish scene troublemakers. It is worthwhile to explore this unique world of a gifted artist in many areas.” 2009 - Maria Magdalena at deSingel Antwerpen - Guy Duplat - La Libre Belgique (Be) |
