Artist Janez Janša will present wide range aspects of the “Name changing” gesture perpetrated by three Slovenian artists (Davide Grassi, Emil Hrvatin and Žiga Kariž) who in 2007 officially, and with all the papers and stamps required, changed their names to the Slovenia’s economic-liberal, conservative prime minister at the time, Janez Janša.

WE LIVE HERE: An Academy has emerged from the need of a platform combining the individual's responsibility and the creative strength of the community. Since 2005, it has been continuously operating as a series of experimental, non-institutional learning practices constantly changing venues, time and context. Congruent with the state of culture in Europe and worldwide, this edition addresses the issue of excruciating demands to artists and the culture as a whole.

The Academy composed of workshops, presentations and lectures will take place from 5 to 10 July at the Frascati Theatre (Amsterdam, Netherlands).
