- Sofia Fernandez is a physical artist and actress. She has worked with The Karavan Ensemble, Transient Dance Theatre and The Whodowudoos in the UK, and is now a member of the Spanish dance theatre company Rabos de Lagartija, touring ZIGURAT during 2012-2013(rabosdelagartila.wordpress.com)
She is a graduate from Brighton University -BA(Hons)in Theatre Arts with distinction, and teacher of Theatre Arts (PGCE Art and Design). She has trained in Action Theater with Kate Hilder, butoh with Ruyzo Fukuhara, Miriam MIM King and contemporary performance making with Sally E. Dean, Yael Karavan and Sachiko Fullita. She has been teaching and running workshops on different aspects of performace, inprovisation and creative writing since 2009 in the UK and in Spain (Brighton University, Coachwerks Brighton, Alter&Nativa, Spanish Pyrenees and La Camara, Asturias, Spain)
