Composer, Performance Artist and Director of the CRANE lab
Jean VOGUET considers that the very nature of his life path as an art, and every attitude, every action, every experience, every direction he took in his life have been involved in his artistic work.
Having been a futuristic bruitism, atypical composer of acousmatic music, he has pursued his research in the context of ways in which his works are presented (environment-specific work, with sound objects, etc), and with the concept of acousmatic geophony (in sound synthesis). He has worked regularly with artists from other disciplines : visual arts, dance, sound poetry, performance art, etc.
His concern for the great myths of humanity, the poetic memory of labor and machinery of men, and his multifaceted artistic collaborations, have led him to present his compositions : « Odyssée », « instants sonores », « Jeux & Variations MiDi », in the form of live electronic performances, concerts in the aircrafts and tractors. As well as his « Musée Nomade », he has perfomed in multidisciplinary events and many festivals internationally (Japan, China, Korea, Russia, Canada, USA, Mexico, Israel, Cameroon, etc) and in the majority of European countries.
