- Vala trained as an actor at Central School of Speech and Drama and recently finished her M.A in Performance Making at Goldsmiths, University of London.
She is the artistic director at Maddid Theatre an Icelandic Theatre company based in Reykjavik and London, that focuses on interdisciplinary theatre and site specific performances.
Vala is also an associate artist at Bottlefed, Footprint Project and Tangled Feet, all award winning companies based in London and Bern, for whom she works on a regular bases as an actor and a performance maker.
