I am an interdisciplinary artist based in Richmond CA. My work explores ideas of utopia and dystopia and my research is directed towards utopian-like idealisms, and how design and architecture function within specific intellectual movements.
My sculptures and installations have been exhibited at numerous galleries and institutions including the San Jose Museum of Art, Southern Exposure, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and the LAB in San Francisco. I've been awarded residencies at the Headlands Center for the Arts, Kala Arts Institute in California and Robert Wilson’s Watermill Center for Performance in New York. And my work has been reviewed in ArtForum.com, the San Francisco Chronicle, The SF Weekly, KQED and KALW Radio, ReadyMade.com, and Art in America.
