- Choreographer and dancer, along with cinema studies, she starts her dance studies in Torino with A. Sagna, M. Francia, G. Rossi; later she attends a course at the Laban Centre for Contemporary Dance in London, and graduates with a postgraduate certificate at the department of Dance Studies of the University Paris VIII. Her training continues with courses in contemporary dance, contactdance, improvisation, yoga with, among others,
P. Kyupers, A. de L. Harwood, J. Hamilton, C. Diverrès, W. Vanderkeybus, S.Sandroni.
One back in Torino in 2000 she founds Il Cantiere starting a teaching activity that promotes research based approaches to movement.
In 2004 she wins the Competition Mouving Up mobility in the world for young artists lauched by the association G.A.I. giovani artisti italiani for the Theatre-Dance area.
2004 is also the opening year of her choreographic creation phase with some short performances presented for Ciudades Que Dansan, the InternationalFestival of Dance in Urban Landscape network, among others at the following
festivals: Habana Vieja Ciudad en Movimiento in l’Havana; Festival Lugar à Dança in Lisbon; Festival da Fabrica in Porto; Festival Corpi Urbani in Genoa.
In 2006 she is selected for the project Dance Break of Torinodanza with a contemporary dance performance created for and staged at the Olympic Family Hotel Le Meridien Art+Tech of Turin designed by the architect Renzo Piano in the former Fiat Lingotto Building durin ItalyArt Cultural Olympiad 2006.
Since 2007 she is supported by Mosaico - INTERPLAY International Festival of Contemporary Dance that co-produces all her more recent creations,
starting with the show The Tender Inspection that is created and staged for the same Festival in 2007 with the support of Vo’ Arte - Lugar à Dança
Festival of Lisbon, ACTI Teatri Indipendenti and
Festival Externi.
In 2008 she presents a first work in progress show of the choreographic project Solo Carta during Dance Roads International Dance Meetings. The project wins the competition Spazi per la danza contemporanea and obtains a production from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, ETI - Ente Teatrale Italiano and Piedmont
Region. Solo Carta is selected as the italian proposal for the Festival Les Repérages Rencontres Internationales de la Jeunes Chorégraphie in Lille in March 2009 and it has been invited later in Charleroi for Charleroi Danses.
In 2009 she is selected for the French-Italian project
Commons Markets for a contemporary dance performance production that has been presented in 2010 in various cities - choreographic centres that take part of the project such as: Centre Chorégraphique Maguy Marin in
Rillieux la Pape, Festival Les Hivernales in Avignon, Festival Les Invites in Villeurbanne, Lieux Pubblique in Marseille, Festival Corpi Urbani in Genoa,
Festival Interplay and TPE Teatro Piemonte Europa in Torino.
In 2010 her last production "Partial solution of a provisional problem", a contemporary dance solo, is produced by Torinodanza Festival in coproduction
with Interplay International Contemporary Dance Festival and
premiered October 29 during the Festival Prospettiva that is part of Turin Teatro Stabile's season.
