Pope Jackson a Harlem native, completed his 1st award winning documentary in high school. Credits: House for Sale (PM) Central Avenue Breakdown (TD); The Death of A Dream (PM,TD,LD); The Domestic Crusaders (SM), Monk (SM), HerStory (DIR), Call me Crazy: Diary of a Mad Social Worker (DIR,LD) & radio dramas High Ground, Ancient Jersey & The Aliens(Actor). Pope heads Actuator Inc & Design team Onyx Arts. Pope received recognition for advocating & educating the learned behavior of Domestic Violence through a Proclamation from the Mayor of NYC, Michael R. Bloomberg, deeming Oct 30, 2009 the "Death of a Dream" day. He was recognized July 2012 with Citations from NY State Senator Gustavo Rivera, NY State Assembly Woman Vanessa L. Gibson, NY City Council Majority Leader Jose Rivera & NY City Community Board #6 for outstanding community service as an citizen, artist and with his company’s work in the arts. He has also won the NY 48 hour Film Project(2005), worked on a Grammy nominated album with Wynton Marsalis (2006) & has Stage Managed at the World Famous Apollo Theater. www.ActuatorInc.com
