Naama Schendar (B. 1982, Jerusalem) currently resides in Tel Aviv.
Naama Schendar is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the fields of theatre and cinema.
As an actress she has participated in the TV series "Hasufim", the feature film "Close to Home" and in various performances with the theatre group "AKA".
As an art director she has worked under senior art director Ariel Glazer on various feature films and as art director in the film "Andante".
Her first independent work "Screening Theatre" debuted at the 2010 Acre Theatre Festival where it received the Mayor Prize.
It is a social artistic project, where Jewish and Arab Israeli children get together through theater.
Naama has studied in the School of Visual Arts in Jerusalem, and has a bachelor degree from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, .
