Meg Wolfe's projects have been presented in Los Angeles by REDCAT (Roy and Edna Disney/Cal Arts Theater), the 2009 New Original Works Festival, Highways Performance Space, The Unknown Theater, Anatomy Riot, Sea and Space Explorations; and Performance Works NorthWest (Portland, OR).

Wolfe's projects have been supported by the National Performance Network Creation Fund (2011); grants from CCI (2011 ARC Grant), the Durfee Foundation (ARC Grant 2008, 2004); Danspace Project Commissioning Initiative (funded in part by the Jerome Foundation); and Meet the Composer Fund; and by residencies including the Djerassi Resident Artist’s Program (2011, 2009, 2007, 2005); the Hothouse Residency program at UCLA (summer 2010, 2007); Lexington Center for the Arts, NY (2004); Workspace for Choreographers, VA (1998); and the Harkness Dance Center, NYC (1994-1997, 2000).

Active in New York City's downtown dance scene from 1990-2004, Wolfe’s choreography was presented at Dance Theater Workshop/Fresh Tracks, Danspace Project at St. Mark’s, The Deviant Playground, Dia Center for the Arts, The Kitchen, The Living Theater, Movement Research at Judson Church, Mulberry Street Theater, Nuyorican Poets Café, the White Box Gallery, and other venues. She appeared as a performer in the works of Vicky Shick (1999-2003); as well as with Sigal Bergman, Yoshiko Chuma, Molissa Fenley, Clarinda Mac Low, and Susan Rethorst, among others.

As director of the non-profit arts organization Show Box LA, she is the founder and curator of Anatomy Riot, a low-tech monthly series for dance/performance works running since October 2005; co-editor of the L.A. dance journal, itch; and the founder and director of DANCEbank classes. Additionally, she is the Project Coordinator for CHIME (Choreographers in Mentorship Exchange) in Southern California.
