My work explores human sensitivity, the fragility of things and the elongation of time related to different cycles of life. Active in the field of performance art, “art action” and photography, I use my body as “mutable matter,” as an anonymous presence to expose and/or underline a more universal state. Pursuing a reflection on the sense of time and on presence as a place of commitment, I create mainly durational works, which establish liminal zones between inside and outside, directing attention to the space “in between things”.
I am interested in the body as an experience. Non spectacular, this body becomes simultaneously subject and object, trying to redefining itself constantly. Responding to the places and contexts where they are presented, my actions/interventions propose a progressive development in which the body and the space are gradually transformed. I value the “process-action” and a physicality of the space and time that allow me to develop many perspectives at once. Currently I am initiating a new cycle of works based on the following direction; Presence/Absence/Heart.

I am a Montreal based performance artist. Pursuing a reflection on the sense of time and on presence as a place of commitment, I create mainly durational works, which establish liminal zones between inside and outside, directing attention to the space "in between things".
