- Bio
- Laura is a dancer and choreographer, with strong interests in dancetheatre, improvisation, contact improvisation and multidisciplinary work. In Vancouver Laura works for MACHiNENOiSY Dance Society and Claire French/Restless Productions. Laura was an emerging artist in residence with Vancouver's Dance Centre in 2009, while also running an improvisation collective of dancers and noise artists called No Hitting. In 2009 Laura was also awarded the Holy Body Tattoo's BC's Emerging Dance Artist of the year award. Most recently Laura worked with Davis Freeman/Random Scream at the Coil Festival in NY 2012.
