- Multi-disciplinary artist from Brazil, currently based in Stockholm with 10 years experience in video, performance and photograph.
Graduated in Cinema at the UGF and script-writing at ”Escola de Cinema Darcy Ribeiro” (Rio de Janeiro). Theatre studies at ”Escola de Teatro Macunaima” (Sao Paulo) and Film and Theatre Course at ”City and Islington College University” (London).
Last works exhibited in:
"Bienal Internacional de Dança do Ceará" , Fortaleza, Brasil.
Galeria de arte contemporânea “Atelier Aberto”, Campinas, Brasil.
Festival Internacional de Video Dança "Dança Foco". Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo.
""Her latest works is less about being affected then to learn one’s own capacity to affect; to compose images with power to affect the body of the spectator.
In video art she developed both the ability to be affected and the capacity to affect. Early on she found what was going to be essential in her art; the movement of the human body. Among other things this meant the extraction of dialogue in favor of the language expressed by the body or, more correctly, the composed expressions of images in which the body is an essential part.
So this essential position hold by the body in her art made it quite natural for her to turn to video-dance-performance field.""

Video Screening program for PERFORMANCE 2011 Festival
Artists’ Association MUU invites artists to submit performance video works for the Video Screening program of the International Performance Art Festival PERFORMANCE 2011. The festival will take place in Turku, Finland 27.-29. May 2011. The festival is a part of the official Turku 2011 European Capital of Culture program.

As coisas mudaram um pouco de rumo, da questão da mulher fomos para a questão das origens/miscigenação.
