When we are old or in love we once again become children” (Yves Montand)
Once upon a time summers were long, now they seem to be gone in a second. A love that blossomed only seven years ago underlines how asynchronous the phases of life and love can be.
In this work there is no interpretation, no acting: the old people are a real eighty year old couple who cuddles and kisses, alternating shyness and tenderness all to the notes of live music composed and played by Alessio Contorni with instruments from the couple’s time.
It was presented at the Body Art Performance Festival (Mut-Azioni Profane) at the “Teatro dell’Orologio” in 2009 and at the Dinnerwave Art Gallery in Tucson, Arizona in the same year.

Un tempo le estati erano lunghe, adesso se ne vanno in un attimo. Un amore sbocciato da appena sette anni sottolinea l'asincronia delle fasi della vita con le fasi dell'amore.
Nell'opera non c'è interpretazione: i soggetti anziani sono una vera coppia ottantenne che si coccola e bacia tra imbarazzo e tenerezza accompagnata dalla musica dal vivo composta e suonata da Alessio Contorni con strumenti d'epoca.
Presentata al festival Mut-Azioni Profane presso il Teatro dell'Orologio nel 2009 e presso la Dinnerwave Art Gallery di Tucson in Arizona nel 2009.

His artistic research starts with the experimentation and performance which explores gender roles proposing a fluid vision of the genders coherently with the Queer theory.
The collaboration with Kyrahm resulted in an artistic perspective to the contents of that investigation, giving birth to experimental performances (Human Installations) acknowledged internationally.
Kyrahm and Julius perform in the underground and in contemporary art scene (museums, art galleries, international festivals).
