is an artistic work of video happenings
produced by Vic Kirilove and his team.
Vic Kirilove produces video clips from the art world.
His work fuses together action, theatre, and performance. He experiments the worlds of the artistic scene, and tries to keep them distant from one another.
He works with a team composed of a sound mixer, a photographer and a press agent.
He intervenes unexpectedly and deliberately at artistic and cultural events.
Carrying a real-false camera he shoots various events of current artistic life.
His appearances are momentary and fleeting (appearance-disappearance).
The events and places where he intervenes are chosen according to their symbolic strength: institutional places (as museums, or art centers), mass events and places of social representation (such as conferences, opening ceremonies) as well as places of high economic and financial connotation (as galleries, fairs, biennials).
The material collected from those happenings (videos, photos) is posted on the web site called «Journal de Boörd». The purpose of this site is not to cover an objective panorama of cultural events, but essentially to capture Vic Kirilove's performance at a precise moment on the artistic scene.
