Ed Woodham is a Brooklyn based artist, performer, activist, curator, and producer. He is the founder and director of Art in Odd Places, presenting visual and performance art in unexpected public spaces with an annual festival each October along 14th Street from Avenue C to the Hudson River.
"Art in Odd Places aims to stretch the boundaries of communication in the public realm by presenting artworks in all disciplines outside the confines of traditional public space regulations. AiOP reminds us that public spaces function as the epicenter for diverse social interactions and the unfettered exchange of ideas."

In between his first (1980-88) and second (1998 to present) stint in NYC, Ed founded and directed the interdisciplinary arts space, 800 East in his hometown of Atlanta producing over 250 visual and performance art events.

Ed leads workshops and lectures on public art, urban interventions, and public space.
