Bio
Dorothy Hoover is an artist living in Los Angeles. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College and her Master of Fine Arts in Scenic Design from California Institute of the Arts. This April Dorothy created an installation and performance piece titled “a Still—Volcano—Life” at the Brewery Arts Complex in Los Angeles. Her design work has been featured at LACMA, REDCAT, South Coast Repertory and Boston Court. She has appeared in several group exhibitions in Los Angeles. Her photographs and paintings are featured in publications published by Rust Belt Bindery and Encyclopedia Destructica.
