Dianne is a playwright, performer, and theatre scholar living in
Brooklyn. She is a current candidate for the MFA in Playwriting at Columbia University, studying with Chuck Mee and Kelly Stuart. She has a Masters in Theatre and Performance from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. She completed her dissertation on queer masculinities and abject femininities in the work of Irish playwright Mark O'Rowe. Her short plays Casual and Revolver have premiered at the Schapiro Theatre in New York this year. She co-produced, acted in, and co-wrote the original play REPAIR in February 2012 at the Samuel Beckett Theatre in Ireland. Excerpts from two of her original plays, Prodigal and Ye That Dwell in Dust, have had staged readings in Dublin.She has presented original research on contemporary American theatre in Dublin and Germany.
