Aïcha M’Barek and Hafiz Dhaou have be trained and they danced at Sybel Ballet theatre for ten years. In 00, thanks to scholarships of the IFC Tunis, they joined the CDNC of Angers. They are both 25 years old. In 03, Aïcha M’Barek became teacher in the Regional Conservatory and in 04, participated for a Master Métiers des Arts et de la Culture at University Lyon2.
Hafiz Dhaou has on his side joined in Montpellier the E.X.E.R.C.E., group directed by Mathilde Monnier at the CCN of Montpellier. He presents there in 02, Zenzena (“the prison”) a solo which he will play until 08 and then in 03, h.m. for six mal dancers and one female. He joined Abou Laagra of whom he became a performing interpreter.
Hafiz Dhaou became associated dancer at the CCN of Caen (05) directed by Hela Fattoumi and Eric Lamoureux.
In 07, he dances in their play 1000 departs of mussels. Hafiz Dhaou and Aïcha M’Barek united their strengths in 04 for a first duo Khalini Aïch. On the same year they created two others duos for choreographies postcards filmed within the Art de la Rencontre developed by Dominique Hervieu. In 05, they founded CHATHA Company. Since then they invented a common choregraphie language emerging from their dualities. Their plays which they qualify as “dark” are being danced through out the whole world*. The quator Kaddem Hazem is created in 06 at the Biennale of Lyon. Khaddem Hazem is related to the plain day to day worker and the hips as are the dancers their new creations introduces humor.
