- I was born in Athens on August 9, 1984 and I am currently working as a dancer, choreographer and dramaturge assistant in Athens. I studied in the Professional School of Dance “Rallou Manou”, Choreography at the dance academy ArtEZ in the Netherlands and Theatre Studies at the University of Utrecht with a full scholarship from the Scholarship Foundation of Greece (I.K.Y).
As a dancer I worked with Magpie Dance Music (Katie Duck), Silvia Bennett, Abhilash Ningappa, Sylvain Meret, Noa Simons, Meli Melo and others artists in the Netherlands. In Greece I worked with the National Ballet, Antigone Gyra , Daniel Lommel and others artists. As a choreographer I have participated in festivals in Greece, Croatia, Netherlands and Spain with my own productions – “anamesa”, (yx)2, “falling in love”, “System A”, “Twist-it”, “Apatheia”, “Only for you and only for tonight” and guided improvisation performances in Amsterdam and Greece.
I have been giving workshops and classes in improvisation, choreography and movement research in Netherlands, Israel and Greece and taught technique classes in Netherlands and Greece to professionals and amateurs for the last 8 years.
