Hello Creative Berliners!
I am looking to start a new theatre group with other artists looking to create new work.
Ideally I would love to start on working towards the mounting of new productions.
I am also eager to create a safe space where actors and artists can share there ideas and meet other actors and creatives who might like to help realise their ideas.

My Names Jahman Davine,
I studied acting in Australia for 3 years at the National Theatre Drama School, and quickly found myself directing.
My production of A new Cabaret was a sell out show at red bennies in Melbourne.
I was Invited to direct the final devised project at the National Theatre Drama School in Melbourne.
I have trained with the Physical movement company ZEN ZEN ZO and have had experience acting in Stage and Film.
Recently I was directors Hospitant on a production of Die Soldated with Calixto Beieto at the Komische Oper Berlin.

I'm interested in Devising new works, and adapting existing works through devised driven rehearsals.
As a director what interests me is the language of the body and how we use it to communicate.

I am interested in working towards a group devised performance. think Complicite/ Woster group etc...

If you have experience as an actor or creative and wish to produce more new work. or if your new to acting but would like to try test your abilities.
Please message me at: and we will see what we can do!
Rehearsals in English and German
Performance language - German and English.
look forward to hearing from you.

TriumVirate Radical Dance Performance Workshop with Yuko Kaseki (Tokyo/Berlin) and guest teachers Valentin Tszin (Moscow) and Sung Kuk Kang (Seoul)

July 17 - 20, 2014

Three radical experimenters, dancers and choreographers will make a collaborative workshop for the first time in Berlin.
These artists are different in physicality, history, geographical location and nationalities. They will share their own methodology of movement, influenced by Butoh, physical theatre, contemporary dance, performance art and improvisation. And there will appear a brand-new form through blending their ideas in this special workshop.

Valentin Tszin will focus on his "Theatre of Radical Levels" method which is based on the distinct division into five elements: orthodox, relative, illusion, iteration and naivety. In contiguity of these five elements of natural artistry there occurs a positive conflict which lets out the source of radicalism of one's "levels".
Sung Kuk Kang shows his special existence, movement and dramaturgy. Participants will be encouraged to discover their original dance.
Yuko Kaseki's basic training on Butoh method, Noguchi Taiso, Tai Chi Dao-in aims to open awareness of inner and outer world and to realize permeable body. Playful and original movement will be encountered through elemental improvisations with time and spaces.

Workshop presentation will be shown on the last day.
