Open call for performance art

PAE (Performance Art Event) starts this year with PAEkort.

This is a one-monthly event staging 2 performances on Wednesday evening at the Wolfart Projectspaces in Charlois Rotterdam.

We invite artists of all kind who are interested in making performance art and need a space for experiment with audience. We are interested in proposal of all kind of performance art. Conventional theatre, dance, ballet and music are excluded. We especially welcome proposal from artists who have little experience with making performance art.

To apply, please send an application that should contain:

A.    Full name, postal address, website (or other links), e-mail, phone number, date of birth, education, short CV.

B.   Short text about previous work and artists statement (max 200 words).

C.   Short description of the proposed performance. Including duration, materials and required equipment (max 200 words).

D.   Documentation of previous works or other relevant material.

The application must be sent by email to performanceartevent@yahoo.nl

Proposals can be submitted until the 12^th of September 2011.

Keep in mind that it’s a low budget event, but we have some financial compensation.

Open uitnodiging voor performancekunst

PAE (Performance Art Event) begint dit jaar met PAEkort.
Dit is een één-maandelijks evenement met optredens van twee performancewerken op de woensdagavond in de Wolfart Projectspaces in Charlois Rotterdam.

We verwelkomen kunstenaars van allerlei soort die geïnteresseerd zijn in het maken van performancekunst en behoefte hebben aan een ruimte om te experimenteren voor publiek. Wij zijn geïnteresseerd in voorstellen van alle soorten performancekunst. Conventionele theater, dans, ballet en muziek zijn uitgesloten. Voorstellen van kunstenaar met weinig ervaring in performancekunst zijn extra welkom.

Je kunt je aanmelden door een voorstel te sturen bevattend:

A.      Volledige naam, adres, website (of links), e-mail, telefoonnummer,          geboortedatum, studie, korte CV.

B.      Korte tekst over recent werk en een statement (max 200 woorden).

C.     Korte beschrijving van het voorstel. Inclusief duur, materialen en benodigde apparatuur (max 200 woorden).

D.     Documentatie van eerdere werken of ander relevant materiaal.

Voorstellen kunnen worden ingediend tot 12 september 2011.

Houdt er rekening mee dat het event met beperkte financiële middelen wordt georganiseerd, maar er is een beetje budget.
