DESCRIPTION:\"Ghost- Spettri\" is an exhibition of contemporary photog
 raphy.All the works have been carried out using virtual editing techni
 ques.Through a new symbolism, these works are meant to demonstrate the
  paranoid and serial nowadays human behaviors.Components: virtual coll
 age.As in some works of the Swedish photographer Oskar Rejlander (born
  at the early 20th century), these works are a juxtaposition of images
 . In this case, an overlapping work was carried out using an open sour
 ce computer program. The pictures depict three types of faces: self-po
 rtraits, strangers and contemporary personalities.All the shots have b
 een made with various digital cameras and they only show people's face
 s.White eyes: to amplify the appearance of the contemporary human bein
 g behavior, the eyeballs have digitally erased from the subjects. In m
 any cultures, the eyes have always been considered representing human 
 beings souls. The absence of this symbol creates a unique emotional im
 pact on the perception of the subject, therefore the image is terribly
  altered.Fractal: Fractals are natural geometric patterns. They are ac
 tually never-ending figures. Their geometric system is graphically com
 parable to gigantic spirals or chaotic structures. This symbol is used
  to define the paranoid side. All the fractals used have been created 
 with \"Apophisis\" computer program. Apophisis allows you to create th
 ese patterns by performing calculations and geometrical drawings decid
 ed by the programmer.Smoking: Another symbol used is the cigarette smo
 ke photographed and superimposed on the faces.Cigarettes smoke is used
  as a symbol of mind emptiness and the futile concerns of mankind.By L
